The AOFAR range finder punches way higher than it's price tag. I have tested 5 range finders over the past year and rate the AOFAR at the top of the list tied with a much more expensive Zydar. The GX-10W has a very clear eye piece and good eye relief making it easy to acquire flags and distance targets. The adaptive LCD colors is very nice and makes it easy to read screen details in move high and low light conditions. Flag locking is very quick and yardage returned has been accurate with each model I have compared against. Magnet is very strong and holds to cart roof rail very securely even when riding across bumpy areas. The unit uses a CR2 battery for power which is my preferred method. I try to avoid rechargeable range finders as it is much preferred to swap a battery on course than be surprised that a rechargeable unit is not charged while on the course. I keep a pack of batteries in my bag, and most pro shops sell them at the course.
